Community Guidelines
RollCall is a place for fun, chaos, and staying connected with your mates — but also a space where safety, respect, and creativity matter. These Community Guidelines explain what’s expected of users to help keep RollCall enjoyable for everyone. All users must follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, group lockouts, or account bans.
Last Updated: June 16, 2025
1. Respect Others
This is non-negotiable. You must treat other users with kindness and basic decency, even when you’re roasting them for skipping a challenge.
- No hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, or harassment.
- No bullying or targeted abuse in comments, punishments, or group interactions.
- No impersonation or spreading false information about others.
2. Keep It Safe (And Legal)
Challenges and punishments should be fun, not dangerous or criminal. Risky content puts users and the platform at risk.
- Do not post or encourage illegal activity (e.g., theft, drug use, vandalism).
- Do not submit punishments or challenges that could result in physical harm.
- Do not promote dangerous stunts or unsafe behavior.
Use common sense. "Shave your eyebrow" is fine. "Jump off the roof" is not.
3. No Nudity or Sexually Explicit Content
RollCall is not the place for sexual or pornographic content, even as a punishment.
- No nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive material.
- No fetish content, even if “funny” or dare-related.
Submissions should be safe for a group of mates, not something that would get flagged in a high school group chat.
4. Don’t Exploit or Target Others
- Do not share private images of people without their consent.
- Do not assign punishments to users that involve public shaming or non-consensual exposure.
- Do not record or post others without their permission.
5. Keep It Real
RollCall is about participation. Challenges are meant to be creative, silly, spontaneous — not fake.
- No AI-generated or stock images. Submissions must be your own photo.
- No fake timestamps or edits to bypass punishment logic.
- No impersonation of other users or fake group stacking.
6. Challenge & Punishment Etiquette
- Don’t overuse extreme punishments. Keep things fair and funny.
- If you miss a challenge and get punished, take it in stride. That’s the game.
- Groups can flag “low-effort” submissions. Don’t just post your ceiling every day.
- Punishments must be completed in good faith — no faking or recycling old clips.
7. Content Moderation & Reports
Users can report inappropriate content or behaviour using the in-app flag/report feature. Moderation may include:
- Removal of images or comments
- Group-level lockouts for repeat violators
- Temporary or permanent account suspension
False reports or abuse of the system may also result in penalties.
8. Groups Are Not Private
Groups feel private, but remember: your content is visible to all members. Anything you submit could be screenshotted or flagged.
We do not moderate inside jokes, banter, or light trash-talk unless it crosses into harassment or targeted abuse.
9. Be Funny — Not Harmful
RollCall thrives on weird energy, inside jokes, and ridiculous punishments. But not at someone else's expense. Punch up, not down. Don’t be a jerk.
10. Enforcement and Appeals
We aim to be fair, transparent, and consistent. If your content is removed or your account restricted, you may contact [email protected] to request clarification or appeal moderation decisions.
11. Final Notes
- These guidelines are subject to change. Updates will be posted here and notified in-app if significant.
- We reserve the right to enforce these rules at our discretion to protect users and the platform.
- Have fun. Be creative. And don’t be the reason we have to add more rules.
